Commuting to school

Well,

Here are some images from the town my family and I live in in called Katano-shi. There are a bunch of pictures of my commute to school this morning around 8AM.

My futon, or bed. When you wake up in the morning you fold it all up and have a free room.

The front of my house! My room is the upper left hand window.

The view of the mountains right outside my house.

Walking through the neighborhood.

More neighborhood.

More of the city

where my okasan gets her hair cut, apparently!

Katano-shi city!

A new super highway that they are building which will go from Kyoto to Osaka. It opens in March

Mini daffodils

train platform and arriving train.

going down to the platform

Katano-shi station!

River walk just outside the station- also a good place to run.

Here is the Jumbo Izumiya, or Department store in Katano-shi.

Just curious... Are they advertising the new McDonald's Texas burger as "Big America" in America?

Pokemon, of course.

The hills of Gotenyama station, the station I get off at to walk to school. A good workout.

Vending machines here are hilarious. Period. And they are everywhere.

More hills from Gotenyama station...

A car with a TON of stuffed animals in it.

A generally awful translation. In Japanese it says it's a place for bread and coffee.

A massive schoolyard.

Uh oh... someone is running late!

Everything on either side is the Komatsu plant. This is just one side of the plant.

Self portait.

The Komatsu club... Only the cool people can join.

Self explanatory.

The West Gate of Campus.

Well this is all I have for now!

More to come.
